Ambush is a Swedish heavy metal band from Småland, formed in 2013 and built on a foundation of classic hard-hitting riffs, twin guitar harmonies, and a love for the golden era of heavy metal. Drawing on the spirit of Judas Priest, Accept, and Iron Maiden, the band delivers a sound that is both ferociously traditional and unmistakably their own. Since their debut Firestorm (2014), Ambush have steadily cemented their place as one of the most exciting acts in the new wave of traditional heavy metal, following up with Desecrator (2015), Infidel (2020), and Evil in All Dimensions (2025). The band recently signed to Napalm Records, marking an exciting new chapter for one of Sweden’s hardest-working metal exports.
